Social Lives of Infrastructure Research Cluster Project
July 2025 – August 2026
· Project is a part of the Social Lives of Infrastructure Research Cluster at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
· Research concerns how people living in infrastructure deserts view and experience various types of infrastructure (access to green space, food accessibility, transportation efficiency etc.)
· Designed an IRB Research Ethics Protocol and preliminary literature review for the project.

· Volunteered with Social Science Works as a part of this research
o Attended and observed five refugee integration workshops at the Wünsdorf refugee shelter (DRK Flüchlingshilfe Brandenburg gGmbH Erstaufnahmeeinrichtung Wünsdorf) in Zossen, Germany
o Co-conducted and transcribed interviews with migrants
o Edited articles and interviews in English from other team members

Asheville Poverty Initiative, Asheville, North Carolina — Volunteer Coordinator Intern (September 2021-July 2022)
Served as the Volunteer Coordinator at the 12 Baskets Cafe of the Asheville Poverty Initiative while working a Hands and Feet of Asheville Intern through the Young Adult Volunteer Program
Acquired more knowledge and understanding of how food abundance and scarcity is connected to public health and policy through coordinating food pick ups and volunteer sign ups and assisting with education programs
HOPE Concierge Counseling, Irving, Texas — Intern and Office Assistant (June 2021-August 2021)
Served as a summer intern and office assistant for Licensed Professional Counselor, Llewellyn Morgan, at she was building and starting her private counseling practice
Gained more experience by shadowing and assisting a Licensed Professional Counselor and learned more about the logistical side of counseling and the work required outside of seeing clients
Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority, Ohio State University — Chapter Member and Officer (January 2018 - May 2021)

Prepared new members about the sorority and prepared them to become initiated members by planning and executing educational programs.
